- Copy/paste
- Copy anything to the clipboard, and paste it anywhere (even in another project, so you can move blocks between them!)
- On desktop, select something in Explorer and use Control+C and Control+V (or Command+C and Command+V on Mac)
- On mobile use the Inspector's Copy and Paste buttons (where Paste will open Chat with a
/paste command, so you can use your native OS paste functionality, for extra security)
- Safer Explorer
- Explorer only browses, so you can't accidentally destroy anything
- Until you click the edit button (pen icon) which lets you purposefully destroy everything ;)
- Drag a block onto another to move it into that block
- Inspector's layout matches Explorer's value + label caption
- Inspector show a convenient palette color picker
- Removed Inspector's toolbar
- Removed Explorer's folder button, just click a block twice to open it (when editing)
- Build app
- Play button toggles to a Stop button
- Build shows a black outline around the edited group, white around the block
- Build's outlines fit the bounding box (instead of leaving a "helpful" gap)
- Recompute position when reparenting a block in Build's Properties Explorer
- Smaller drag threshold on desktop (zero on resize handles)
- Ask the agent about the block you've selected in Build
- Other stuff
- Docked windows stay docked, until you click to undock them (instead of "falling apart" when dragged)
- New app icon designs
onKeyDown event supports key repeat- Simpler UI
input block - Apps no longer need a
type: app property - Removed the
null-color swatch - Removed
onFocus and onBlur events
- Fixed bugs
- The
scoreboard is invisible in Build - Chat shows the wrong message when deduplicated
- Wrong bounds returned by
getBoundsTreeTransformed for nested rotated blocks - Wrong hit-testing of nested rotated blocks
- Build's undo doesn't undo trashing a shape
- Desktop's Trash icon becomes the shape/color you trash
- Clicking a sliders doesn't bring the window to front
- A link to a script errors when run
- Clicking twice makes Build edit the children of blocks that don't have any
- Long strings look weird when dropped on the desktop
October 11, 2026
- Desktop is a folder
- Drop anything on the desktop (temporarily, or to easily find it later)
- Drag that stuff around to organize it (and clean up the mess you just made)
- Delete by dragging to Trash (undelete by dragging back out)
- Drag something onto an app to open it with that app
- Hold Alt/Option while dragging to create a link
- More friendly Explorer (I hope)
- Tree view retired, always grid view, no modes
- Clicking a block selects it
- Click the pen button to edit the selected property
- Click the folder button to view the contents of any block
- Functions show their names (instead of a cryptic lambda icon)
- Disabled scrolling by dragging Explorer's background (use the scrollbars, it's safer!)
- Build app
- Retired the welcome screen, starting the app will create (or open) a draft app (like the other editors)
- To make a new graphic, select your art in Properties, click the pen button, and click "Make graphic"
- Selecting a block updates the Properties window
- Canvas scrolls
- Rotate by 1 degree (15 when snapped)
- Block's name is outlined (so it stays visible on a white background)
- Dropping an inventory sounds adds an
onClick script that plays it (instead of doing nothing!) - Select blocks even if
disabled: false - Inventory's button has an example
onClick handler (and its other functions have more descriptive names)
- More things
- Larger window resize handles (with a cute wedge shape)
- A shape with no color doesn't draw (no need to set
color: null) - Renamed
mesh to shape - Renamed
Chat.toast to Chat.log - Command+C copies a block as JSON to the clipboard
- Apps contain their icons (instead of linking to them)
- Removed
/drafts folder (replaced by /desktop)
- Fixed bugs
- Non-drawing shape breaks vertex stride in batched meshes
- One bug? That's it? Well, I'm sure I missed many and added more!
October 5, 2026
- Colors
- Brighter and bolder palette!
- Desktop wallpaper (edit
/graphics/wallpaper to make your own!) - Undo/redo in Color app
- Removed "forking" of colors into hex codes when editing them with the Color app

darkPurple (darkGray is pretty purple now!)
- Inventory
- Tons more examples in the scripts folder (and dropping them on shapes now actually works! ':)
- New styles folder make special properties more discoverable
- Hexagon and sparkle shapes exemplify
circle and star properties - Functions show their names (instead of a mysterious lambda symbol)

- Arrow keys move selected block
- Delete/Backspace deletes the selected block
- Hold Alt to resize symmetrically

- Documentation
- Click the (?) button in Code to look up any symbol (no longer need to leave the desktop to visit a docs web page)
- Documented blocks like
ui/input, ui/scroll, ui/slider, and ui/button - Documented properties like
x and visible Documentation module lets you procedurally search both the kernel API and live state tree's JSDoc comments (so user-space modules can have JSDoc documentation too)
- Chat
- Ask... input grows to fit typing long prompts
- No dropdown for repeat messages (so you're not stuck staring at an exception thrown every frame!)
- Markdown tables render as HTML (if the agent writes them)
- Other things you might notice
- Moved account links to header's left dropdown menu (so you can use it for all navigation)
- Undo/redo buttons in Code's toolbar
- Explorer no longer allows spaces in property names (when renaming)
- Things only I will care about
- Optimized shared game size, running a "kiosk" shell (instead of the entire desktop!)
- Optimized autosave change-checking
- Added missing
z param to Block.worldToLocal (for full 3D compatibility) - Events call
onUpdate3 even if there's no onUpdate2 etc. - Procedural meshes
Watch dependencies (instead of computing a hash string every frame!) - Renamed the OBJ
import shape to obj (since import is a reserved word) - Removed
nametag UI block
- Bugs fixed
- On-screen keyboard pops up after every pinch-zoom if an
input has focus - Scrollbar thumb snaps instead of moving smoothly
- Very quick drags on mobile don't triggering scrolling
- Weird Magic Mouse "wheel" scrolling on macOS
- Possible desync for very large mouse wheel inputs
- Build's snaps size absolutely, but position relatively
- Resizing a ui/input block in Build doesn't actually change its size
- UI
input shows a slider when editing property names with descenders - Input block throws
NaN exception when clicked in Build - Can't click the "(by <user>)" part of a project button
- Batched "graphics" block meshes don't update when changing palette colors
- Windows pop front-most even when they could have docked, except there's no room
September 16, 2026
- Changed name from Play Tiny Games to Fantasy Computer. (Let me know if you have a better idea!)

- Header dropdown menus help navigate the web pages. (You'll need it because I also moved everything! :P Also, old projects will have two headers, sorry.)
- Live-update player counts on
/games/. - New assistant/chat dropdown design.
- Project list shows the owner's name if you're an invitee.
